In this rough economy how has it affected your holiday budget? What are you doing without this year?

What I am doing without is a sense of confidence in our leaders and the people of this country. When are people going to wake up and realize this country became great by hard working people who could build a great life if they worked hard. NOT by lay abouts and their supporters who leach off society and make it harder and harder for average Americans to get ahead because we are burdened by carrying those who chose to leach off of the worker of this nation. If you can not get and hold a job in Cheshire county, you do not deserve to be carried by the fine working people of this county, state and nation.

Well unlike Paisley and Dep. I happen to be curious about what people are choosing NOT to spend money on. I find that when people have the money to splurge on Christmas, they miss the most important parts. And when their on a budget, they do realize what their blessings are. A little self reflection wouldn't hurt anyone. I happen to be doing without a Christmas tree. Since I'm visiting others on the big day, spending the time and money didn't seem important. Instead I had my family send me pictures of their trees, and made a tree collage over the fireplace. Has anyone else had an idea, that saved them money?

It's been very hard this year. I said I was not going to go over $300 this year but I've spent close to $500! Wow! With 2 children and many family members to buy for, it adds up very quickly. It's frustrating!

Perhaps you'd get a better response if you asked us to count our blessings instead of our disappointments?

I'm spending money like a drunken sailor! I'm now able to because everything is going to be free before long. The great leadership of this country is working very hard to make it that way. Before long they will pick me up at my government assigned shack, bus me to my government assigned job, feed me my government rations, supply me with my government uniform, and they will even let me stand in line at the government controlled medical facility if my illness is not too expensive or I'm not too old!
The only thing I'm not happy with is that I will have to give up my home, my possesions, my guns, and my freedom. It's a small price to pay to benefit the motherland.
